X rested there. The covers of his bed placed over top of him. The warmth of the room. X was asleep so he didn't notice the shadow coming from his window. When someone turned on the lights the shadow would vanish perfectly. As if it were never there. If you put a camera that saw heat you'd just see a blob sitting at the window. Sure this creature was a spiritual entity. Ghost, no. Demon, no. Guardian, yes. Then the shadow moved.
The being was moving. "X..." It said in a soft voice. The voice worked it's way into X's dream and he began dreaming of the times when they were battling the Rebellion Forces with Redips. The voice was familiar. It belonged to the person who used playing cards as attacks, who used poker as a strategy for fighting, and the better the hand the stronger the attack for him. The guardian spirit placed his hand on X's head and began to mess with the brunet's hair.
X's mind began to surface. He opened his eyes. He saw someone that he couldn't make out. They were smiling. But they disappeared in a blink of an eye. X felt the hand vanish from his head. He quickly sat up looking around. He saw the sun was coming up. He sighed. "Another dream that upsets me..." X said to himself. Today him, Zero, and Axl were off unless there was a big emergency. X headed down in his pajamas just like everyone else who was off, to go get breakfast.
"Hey X." Said Zero as X sat down next to him. "Why the long face?" Axl asked. "You had another one of those dreams didn't you?" Zero asked. X nodded. Zero sighed. "Really? It's been a month already. I think we need to find a priest or something." Zero said. "Don't Zero... Something about this ghost... Puts me at ease... It's as if I knew it at one point..." X said. "Are you serious!?" Zero asked. X nodded. Zero sighed again.
"Fine but if you get possessed I'll say 'I told you so.'" Zero responded. "Okay..." X responded. "Hey Zero... I think you might want to take it easy on him." Axl stated. "Axl, I know what I'm doing. After all who knew X longer. Me or you?" Zero asked. "You..." Axl responded. "Exactly." Zero responded. But while they were talking X finished his breakfast and went to his room. He shut the door and sat on his bed. "Hello... Ghost...? Can you hear me?" X asked.
"Oh so now you notice that I'm here?" Said a voice. "...Why are you here?" X asked. He felt something sit next to him and wrap his arm around him. "X... You don't remember my voice?" Asked the ghost. X continued staring forward. "Did we... met before?" X asked. "Yes... We did..." Responded the ghost. "Who are you... And maybe I'll understand..." X said. Things went silent but he knew the ghost was there because his arm was still around him.
"My name... Is Spider..." The ghost finally said. X quickly stood. "S-Spider!?" X shouted. His hands tensed up as he began to remember the repliod. X took a deep breath. How could this person be Spider? "Y-You're not Spider..." X said. "Yes I am." 'Spider' responded. "THEN PROVE IT! PROVE TO ME THAT YOU ARE SPIDER!! GO ON! PROVE IT!" X screamed. Tears rolling down his face. The ghost fell silent. "YOU CAN'T CAN YOU!? THAT'S BECAUSE YOU AREN'T SPIDER! YOU'RE A DUMB LIAR! HOW D-" X was cut off.
The ghost pinned X against the wall. "Proof!? You want proof!? Alright I'll give you proof!" The ghost threw X to the ground. A strong aura filled the room and standing right in front of him was Spider. Angel wings folded at his back. He flicked his wrist and playing cards appeared. He stared at X. His face flushed with anger. "Now do you believe me? X." Spider asked him. X stared at the somewhat transparent Spider. X bursted into tears as he hugged the fellow repliod.
"Spider! It really is you!" X shouted as he cried. Spider looked down at the brunet and sighed. "You've grown delicate, haven't you?" Spider said. X nodded. "Well you need to get rid of that side of you for a bit!" Spider said suddenly strict. "Wh-What?" X asked. He backed away. "What do you mean?" X asked. "I have a mission for you. But first you have to promise that you will 1) keep my present a secret til I tell you to do other wise, 2) let me mentor you and train you to help you get stronger, 3) do what I say for the next few days." Spider said.
X looked at him in shock then nodded. "I promise!" X shouted. He was suddenly serious. "Good." Spider said. He sat X down on the bed and then handed him something that seemed like a compact. X opened the compact that was blue and shaped like an X. The repliod saw a mirror and a pocket in it. A mirror at the top but a blue orb with a black charm shaped like an X floating on the inside. X looked at the mirror and saw himself. His true self.
He had black armor on and an X tatued onto his cheek. X looked back up at Spider. "From now on you call me Spider-sensei. Got it?" Spider said. X nodded. "Now press lightly on that mirror to talk to our boss." Spider said. X genitally pressed on the mirror. It flashed bright yellow color. 'Hello X... From here on out you refer to me as Boss. You are chosen to help the human race. This is a top secret job for you. And you only.' Said a voice.
X nodded. "Right boss." X said. 'X... A strong evil has arisen. Stronger then mavericks and rebels. It's your job to save the lives of everything on the Earth. If you don't then the Earth will be a planet just like Mars. Do you except your job as protector?' X sat there. He didn't know what would happen. Was this a joke!? "..........I'll do it!" X shouted. 'Okay. Spider will give you your first mission. Boss out.' X nodded. Then he turned his attention to Spider.
"So what's first, Spider-sensei?" X asked. Spider sighed. "First thing is first. You need to learn how to access the black armor form." Spider said. "B-Black armor form?" X asked. Spider nodded. "That blue orb, hold it in your hand. Then set the compact down and stand in the center of the room." Spider ordered. X nodded and did as he was instructed. "Now throw the orb into the air, while you are doing so, shout TRANSFORM BLACK ARMOR! Got it?" Spider asked.
X nodded. He threw the orb up into the air. "TRANSFORM BLACK ARMOR!" He shouted. The orb exploded into dust and X was in jet black armor. It was light but thick. A X was tatued on his cheek. The number 01 was on his arm. And the blue orb was in his chest armor right over his heart. X examined himself. "Wh-What just happened?" X asked. Spider smiled. "You executed the transformation perfectly. Congrats." Spider responded. X looked over shocked.
"Now what?" X asked. "Then you transform back." Spider said. "How do I do that?" X asked the angel. "Press down on the blue orb in your chest and shout REVERT! And when you lift your hand you're armor will be gone and you'll be back in your original outfit. The armor will become the orb again so make sure you catch it before it hits the ground." Spider explained. X nodded. He pressed down on the orb. "REVERT!" He shouted. His armor vanished.
X was indeed in his original outfit. He quickly caught the orb and placed it in the compact where it was originally. "Good job X. Now remember. If anyone get's their hands on that orb, we're toast. So guard it well." Spider said. X nodded. "I'll guard it with my life Spider-sensei." X responded. "Good. Now go to your friends and I'll call you back using the compact when I need you." Spider said. X nodded and left the room. Spider smiled.
